Persia. The very word evokes images of kings and princes and tales of Arabian nights, of Scheherazade, the teller of 1001 stories of cunning and derring-do.
However, Persia was not solely acclaimed for the tales of 1001 Arabian Nights, but for algebra, Backgammon, a postal service, military conscription, and advances in human rights.
The kingdoms of Persia and Babylonia inhabited the region that played host to the world's earliest civilizations. They are thought by most archaeological scholars to contain the site named in the Old Testament book of Genesis as the Garden of Eden.
Ur of the Chaldeans, the home of Abraham, was also a part of the region that was once Babylonia-later controlled by the Persians.
The Persian population would eventually learn that it had exchanged one tyrannical ruler for another. Under Islamic rule the people would be forced to forsake the Persian language in favor of Arabic, which would become the sanctioned language of the Muslim world.
The revelation inside the pages of this book is life transforming. Until God gave me this revelation, I had no idea that Scriptures I had circled even as a child would have special significance in the years to come. After having seen Jesus face-to-face at the age of eleven, I knew I wanted to hear His voice again. That is what sparked this amazing search. I learned through this revelation how to hear the voice of God again and again-through His Word.
As a little boy who desperately wanted approval, and was accustomed to nothing but rejection, I could very easily have lived my life compromising to gain acceptance. But this revelation has kept me from doing that. Instead, I have sought Divine affirmation - to turn my equity into currency, and my influence into favor. The thing that frightened me most was not that I was inadequate, but that I felt with my whole heart that I was called to manifest the light of God. I realized that staying small would not serve my world. Shrinking to accommodate my critics would not transform the world around me. The words of the prophet Jeremiah cried out to me: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
May the Spirit of God open your eyes to this revelation! Once you get it, you will refuse to be obsessed with what you’re going through; you will be obsessed with what you are going to.
Once a spirit of fear takes root, you lose control of your emotions, sending you spiraling downward into a spiritual pit of despair, discouragement and disappointment.
It does not take extraordinary insight to realize tht we live in a fear-filled world. Yet fear does not have to be the condition of anyone who believes and claims the promises of God.
This powerful book will equip you to overcome the spirit of fear, build up your faith, overcome the enemy and replace breakdowns with breakthroughs in every part of your life.
Destroy the yoke of bondage that fear brings and replace it with a new spirit of hope, freedom, power and joy.

DR. MIKE EVANS, the #1 New York Times bestselling author, is an award-winning journalist / Middle East analyst who has served as a confidant to leaders in the Middle East for more than three decades. He has met with 52 world leaders including Menachem Begin to whom he recommended Benjamin Netanyahu for his first political appointment. The Locket is Dr. Evans’ latest project. This suspense-filled and captivating novel will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a book you will not be able to put down. Dr. Evans’ great-grandfather, a rabbi, perished in Minsk, Russia, during the pogroms. He and his congregation were boarded up in their synagogue and burned to death by Orthodox Christians who cried, “Christ killers” as the fire consumed the building. Others of his family perished at Auschwitz. More than twenty-five million copies of Dr. Evans’ books are in print, and he is the award-winning producer of nine documentaries based on his books. Dr. Evans is considered one of the world’s leading experts on Israel and the Middle East, and is one of the most sought-after speakers on that subject.
SEVEN DAYS by Mike Evans is a wild ride into an attack on Iran before it happens followed by SEVEN DAYS of retaliation against Israel and the West.
Since 1948, Israel has launched numerous preemptive strikes against her foes. In 1981 and 2007 Israel destroyed Iraq and Syria’s nuclear reactors, and is now on the brink of a strike against Iran. Dr. Evans predicted the attack by Osama bin Laden on the World Trade Center in his 1999 fiction bestseller The Jerusalem Scroll. In 2003 he predicted the Arab Spring in his #1 New York Times bestseller, Beyond Iraq: The Next Move.
Now, Mike Evans' latest book lays the groundwork for a nuclear attack over seven critical days between Israel and Iran. Written as a fictional story, Evans details the evil plans to destroy the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.
But is it just fiction ... or fact-based predictions? You decide. Read tomorrow's news today. Read Seven Days.
What is the real reason for the ongoing conflict in the Middle East between the Jewish and Muslim populations?
It is important to establish that the conflict in the Middle East has never been about a Palestinian state. It’s not about the division of Jerusalem, checkpoints, fences, land or borders. The issue is Israel’s right to exist as a nation.
The refusal of the Arab world to accept Israel as a nation is at the heart of the conflict that has raged since May 14, 1948. Until this is acknowledged as the sole barrier to meaningful dialogue, there will never be peace, and in fact the very phrase “peace in the Middle East” becomes an oxymoron.
It is impossible for Israel to negotiate with an entity that refuses to acknowledge the Jewish state’s very right to exist. This critical point of contention is ignored by those calling for Israel to capitulate and surrender her defensible borders. Many believe this refusal is nothing more than an honest misunderstanding or raw stubbornness. It is rather a total ignorance of the facts as they apply to the mindset of those urging Israel to give in to her detractors.
The Arab refusal to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist as a nation, while at the same time posing as a true partner in seeking the emergence of a peaceful Palestinian state, is, perhaps, the greatest, longest running, and most widely accepted hoax ever perpetrated on a gullible world. The refusal to see this incongruity is remarkable. Anti-Israeli sentiment has in fact become the new anti-Semitism. It makes Israel the new “collective Jew”, and then assaults the individual Jew as an extension of the state.
What is the root of that reason?
Are the Prophetic Pieces Nearly in Place?
A diabolical counterfeit of God’s ultimate plan of salvation seems to be spreading across the Middle East—and is playing out just as foretold in the Bible. While Western Christians seem to be growing more complacent and concerned with their personal comfort and success, a prophetic storm is gathering in the Middle East. Radical Islamists are preparing for the final battle, believing it will usher in a new age of Islamist supremacy.
Do you find these events as chilling as I do?
I have been a Middle East correspondent for more than three decades and an advisor on the Middle East for just as long. In that time I have written almost two-dozen books on the Middle East and radical Islam, many of them discussing their relationship to the events of the book of Revelation. I have studied the prophecies about the end of the age given by Jesus, the Old Testament prophets, and the New Testament apostles. I have read and reread books on Bible eschatology written by experts, teachers, and scholars. And in all my research and years of experience, there has been no other time when the signs of Jesus’ imminent return were happening with the intensity we are seeing today. Bible prophecy after Bible prophecy points to the likelihood that the last generation before Jesus’ return is now on the Earth, and the last lap for the Church has begun.
I know many wise men and women will take this declaration with at least a grain of salt. In fact, someone declared that Jesus would return on May 21, 2011, only to be proven spectacularly wrong. He was ridiculed by both believers and non-believers. At the same time, popular Christian leaders are suggesting that the book of Revelation actually has more to do with the Romans of John’s time than as a prognosis for what will happen at the end of the age, throwing many into confusion. Others have touted that no one is going to be “left behind” in the Rapture. All will be saved in the end, despite what Scripture says. It is eerily reminiscent of the days before the flood, as Noah called on humanity to repent. They ridiculed and scoffed, only to realize too late that Noah had had their best interests at heart.
Excerpt from Book, Chapter 112
As the clock at Gavriel’s workstation reached four minutes thirteen seconds, an alarm sounded. Everyone in the control room looked up at the speakers mounted on the wall. Then a voice spoke. “Standby for an Emergency Message.”
Gavriel and the launch control officers took out their notebooks and pens. Moments later, the voice continued. “Lamed, ayin, resh, ayin, gimel, gimel, bet, qof…” They dutifully copied down the text and swapped notebooks.
When the repeat broadcast concluded, Gavriel checked the pages, and then turned to Ari. “Sir, they read the same.”
Ari glanced over Gavriel’s shoulder at the notebooks, then nodded. “I concur. The Emergency Action Message has been accurately received.”
As they had done before, the launch control officers unlocked the safe and removed a second authentication card. Ari compared the letters on the card to the first few letters of the message they just received. “The message is authentic,” he nodded.
Gavriel took the card and repeated the process. “Yes,” he nodded. “The message is confirmed.” He reached across his desk and handed it to the technician. “Quickly,” Gavriel snapped. “This is an order to stand down.”
Before the technician could grasp the message, Khoury stepped forward and snatched it away. He held the message in one hand and drew his automatic pistol in the other. “Move this way. Both of you,” he said gesturing to the technicians with the pistol. “Step away from the panel.”
As they stepped aside, Khoury moved to the center of the room. “Now, this is what we are going to do. We are going to stay right where we are and wait while the missiles launch. And if everyone does as they are told, we will all get to go home at the end of the day.” A broad grin spread across his face. “And then we can watch while the few Iranians who survive try to figure out what it them.”
“You cannot be serious,” Ari shouted. “We have orders to stand down.”
Khoury shook his head. “I do not know anything about any orders to stand down. All I know is those worthless Iranians want to destroy us. Only now, we have the chance to destroy them. And we are going to do it.”
Ari moved to the right. “This will never work.”
“Of course it will work. I may have to shoot you, but it will work. The launch sequence has been initiated. Computers are in charge now. Nothing can stop them but human intervention.” He wagged the pistol. “And I am going to make certain that will not happen.”
One of the launch control officers spoke up. “There are six of us, and one of you.”
Khoury held up the pistol. “I have fifteen rounds. That is two each. Do you want to be first?”
By then Ari was at the end of the workstation. “You will never get away with this.” He came around the end and moved toward Khoury. “You will be tried and executed.”
Khoury stepped forward quickly and grabbed Ari around the neck. “Perhaps you are right. Perhaps I will die. And if that is true, why should I care what happens to you?” He pressed the muzzle of the pistol against Ari’s temple. “How brave are you feeling now?”
From the corner of his eye, Ari caught a glimpse of the countdown clock. Fifty-nine seconds and counting…
Many believe the clash between the Arabs and Israelis is political and the religious factor has just lately risen to the surface; that is an erroneous assumption. It has long been a conflict between two books and two spirits: the Bible and the Quran; the spirit of life and the spirit of death (jihad). It is, indeed, a religious conflict. The danger that emanates from Iran’s proxies—Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad—is the direct result of the belief that each terrorist entity speaks for Allah and is acting at his behest to bring death to the infidels.
Iran is the center of gravity for the fundamentalist Islam wolf pack. Its footprint can be seen in comments made by the head of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, who refers to himself as the special envoy not of Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad but of its supreme leader, Ali Khamenei. This gives subtle overtones of Shi’a radicalism to Hezbollah. At last count, the terrorist group had some 50,000 rockets aimed toward Israel. And while the Islamic Jihad terrorists in Gaza with their 5,000 rockets can’t vie in numbers, they can compete in the intensity of their hatred for the Jewish nation.
There was a time when Arab players were characterized by the country from which they came (nationalism.) Today they more readily identify themselves simply as practicing or non-practicing Muslims. The factors that will one day blur the lines dividing the Shi’ite and the Sunni Muslims is their hatred for Israel and a desire of both to see an Islamic caliphate dominate the world.
This is why, when dealing with Iran, U.S. leaders must understand that there are truths in the political arena which cannot be denied: First, harsh sanctions can work; second, the U.S. must maintain its role as a world leader; and third, America’s support for Israel must not waiver. The U.S.-Israel alliance is the only firewall between radical Islam and the West.
We must know our enemy. We have two opponents, the irreconcilable wing of Islam and the evil power that inspires it. Once God’s people see this clearly, they can arm themselves with the Word and prayer in order to plunder Hell and populate Heaven. This is a war that cannot be won without applying basic biblical principles
IT’S A LIE THAT WOULD NOT DIE;believed to be true by Adolf Hitler, Henry Ford, and the late Osama bin Laden. It was introduced by the Russian secret police in an attempt to bolster the reign of Tsar Nicholas II. It erroneously exposed his enemies as co-conspirators with the Jews in a plot to take over the world. This fabricated document was embraced by a religious fanatic, Sergei Nilus, and published in 1905 in Russia. He published three separate versions of the book, and the last in 1917 indicated that Theodor Herzl was the writer of the mythical conspiracy theory. The book birthed the pogroms in Russia, and was used by Hitler as an excuse to exterminate six million Jews in Europe. Many Muslim leaders worldwide keep it within reach as the most revered book, after the Quran. Every terrorist organization uses this plagiarized copy to support the vile acts it commits.
